Scope

This proposed new standard prescribes a method of testing factory-designed packages used for chilling and/or heating water to verify capacity and thermal energy input requirements at a specified set of operating conditions. The test method is not intended for typical field installations, where steady-state conditions often cannot be achieved and proper instrumentation cannot be provided.
