This standard specifies the characteristics of O-rings in fluorosilicone rubber FVMQ, hardness 80 IRHD, for
aerospace applications.
They are intended to be used in air, mineral/synthetic oil and fuel systems.
Operating conditions - Temperature:
a) Continuous operation: - 55 ℃ to 150 ℃;
b) Intermittent service: - 55 ℃ to 200 ℃.
Limitation:
not to be used with phosphoric ester type hydraulic fluids (permanent or temporary immersion).
