- This standard specifies the term definitions, test methods, test rules, etc. for the technical performance of meteorological low-speed wind tunnels (hereinafter referred to as wind tunnels). This standard is applicable to technical performance testing of newly manufactured, in-use and modified meteorological backflow and DC low-speed wind tunnels with an upper limit of flow velocity of 30m/s. Meteorological wind tunnel performance tests with upper limit flow speeds above 30m/s can also refer to this standard.
