Scope: This standard specifies the principles and requirements of lighting and visual ergonomics in indoor workplaces, so that workers can perform visual operations safely, effectively and comfortably during the entire working period. This standard applies to indoor workplaces such as residential buildings, public buildings and buildings. This standard does not apply to low-light workplaces, such as places where projectors are placed, slides are viewed, photosensitive materials are processed, and objects are magnified with auxiliary equipment.
