Scope: This standard determines the classification of series 1 containers according to the external dimensions of the containers, and stipulates the corresponding rated mass. At the same time, it determines the minimum internal dimensions and door frame opening dimensions of some types of containers. The containers listed in this standard are suitable for international transportation. This standard briefly specifies the external dimensions and some internal dimensions of series 1 containers. The specific dimensions of each type of container have been included in the corresponding standards of ISO 1496.
