Scope

This part of GB/T 6974 specifies the general definition of tower cranes and explains the terms used by various types of tower cranes by means of legends with relevant term numbers. This section applies to: - Tower cranes that can be assembled and disassembled; - Tower cranes that are permanently installed. This section does not apply to: - mobile cranes that can be equipped with towers; - installation masts with or without jibs.
