Scope: This standard specifies the basic parameters, requirements, test methods and inspection rules for automatic balance recorders and indicators (hereinafter referred to as instruments) used in industrial process measurement and control systems. This standard applies to electronic automatic potentiometers, balance bridge recorders and indicators for analog electrical signals used in industrial process measurement and control systems (hereinafter referred to as potentiometers and bridges). The rated external resistance of the input side of the potentiometer is not greater than 10000Ω; the rated external resistance of the input side of the bridge is not greater than 1500Ω. This standard is only applicable to instruments used under general working conditions, and additional technical requirements for instruments used under special working conditions do not fall within the scope of this standard. This standard also does not include additional requirements for instruments with additional devices.
