Scope

This standard specifies the principle, reagents and materials, instruments and equipment, test procedures, result calculation and precision of the semi-trace Kelvin method and semi-trace steam method for measuring nitrogen in coal, coke and coal-water slurry. The Kelvin method is suitable for lignite, bituminous coal, anthracite and coal water slurry; the steam method is suitable for bituminous coal, anthracite and coke.
