This standard specifies the SDS-PAGE gel electrophoresis determination method for β-lactoglobulin in milk and dairy products. This standard is applicable to the determination of β-lactoglobulin in milk and dairy products (raw milk, milk powder, liquid milk, cheese, whey powder). The detection limit of this standard for liquid samples is 24mg/100mL, and the detection limit for solid, liquid and solid samples is 240mg/100g.
