- This standard specifies the measurement methods used in the measurement of the return loss of optical fiber devices in the 1000nm-1100nm band. This standard applies to the return loss measurement of non-polarization-maintaining optical fiber devices in the 1000nm-1100nm band, and does not apply to the return loss measurement of polarization-maintaining optical fiber devices in this band. The return loss measurement methods of optical fiber devices in other bands can refer to this standard.
