Scope

This standard specifies the method for the determination of 34 elements such as lead, cadmium, vanadium, and phosphorus in natural waters and sediments by inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry. The 34 elements are listed in Table 1. The detection limit is approximately 0.01~5.0μg/L. See Table A for the recommended reference wavelength and detection limit. All samples should be dissolved in a liquid state when analyzed.
