- This standard specifies the product classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, packaging, transportation and storage of polyethylene terephthalate (PET) resin for bottles. This standard is applicable to the homopoly PET resin produced by direct esterification, continuous polycondensation or intermittent polycondensation with purified terephthalic acid and ethylene glycol as the main raw materials, and purified terephthalic acid, ethylene glycol and isophthalic acid as the main raw materials. The main raw material is copolymerized PET resin produced by direct esterification, continuous polycondensation or intermittent polycondensation.
