The purpose of this document is to meet the essential requirements contained in the technical regulations and applying to simple unloading valves, by defining:
——the functions provided;
——characteris ics of the valve;
——test methods;
——assembly recommendations. The purpose of this document is not to define the coupling and connection systems, nor the position of the accessories, nor in general all the parameters useful for the compatibility of assembly and use of the equipment with each other. The provis ons of this standard are applicable to simple unloading valves, intended for tanks designed for the transport of class 3 liquid hazardous materials defined by the regulations in force (ADR, RID and RTMD) and having a design pressure less than or equal to 50 kPa.
