Scope

This standard specifies the test methods for mechanical vibration of reciprocating pumps (hereinafter referred to as "pumps"). This standard applies to the vibration measured from the surface of the pump body, and its frequency range is 2Hz to 1000Hz. This standard does not apply to hand pumps.
