Scope
This standard applies to the determination of the enthalpy change of a sample with a minimum amount of material, to estimate the temperature at which the enthalpy change occurs, and to determine their enthalpy (heat) by means of differential scanning calorimetry or pressure differential scanning calorimetry. This test method can be used for determination of solid, liquid or mud samples. This test method can be carried out in an inert or active gas with an absolute pressure range of 100Pa to 7MPa and a temperature range of 300K to 800K (27°C to 527°C).
