Scope
This standard specifies the spectrophotometric and high performance liquid chromatography methods for the determination of tert-butylcatechol [ie 4-(1,1 dimethylethyl)-1,2-benzenediol] in butadiene for industrial use. The applicable measurement range of spectrophotometry in this standard is 1mg/kg-300mg/kg, and the applicable measurement range of high performance liquid chromatography is 1mg/kg-250mg/kg. This standard is not intended to address all safety issues associated with its use. Therefore, it is the user's responsibility to take appropriate safety and protection measures to ensure compliance with the relevant national laws and regulations.
