Scope

This part of GB/T 5170 stipulates the inspection items of salt spray test equipment, the main instruments and requirements for inspection, inspection load, inspection conditions, inspection methods, data processing results and inspection results, inspection cycle, etc. This part is applicable to GB/T 2423.17 "Environmental testing of electrical and electronic products - Part 2: Test method Test Ka: salt spray test method", GB/T 2423.18 "Environmental testing of electrical and electronic products - Part 2: Test method Test Kb: salt Fog, alternating (sodium chloride solution)" The initial inspection/acceptance inspection and periodic inspection of the salt spray test equipment used. This section also applies to the inspection of similar test equipment. See GB/T 5170.5 for the inspection of damp heat test equipment used in alternating tests.
