Scope: Applies to connectors for use with all alloys of copper or aluminum conductors, or both, for providing contacts between current-carrying parts such as terminals, between lengths of wire and tap connectors, in accordance with either the Canadian Electrical Code, (C22.1 - Part I) in Canada, the National Electrical Code, NFPA-70 in the United States of America, or the Mexican Electrical Code (NOM-001-SEDE) in Mexico.
