This standard specifies pressure reducing valves for water supply (hereinafter referred to as pressure reducing valves) with a maximum working pressure of 750 kPa on the primary side of the water supply, which is mainly used for water supply to hot water heat exchangers and has a built-in backflow prevention mechanism. Note: All pressures referred to in this standard are gauge pressures.
