This standard specifies valves (hereinafter referred to as valves; yoke-type valves for medical gases are referred to as yoke-type valves) used in high-pressure gas containers with an internal volume of less than 15 OL. However, this does not apply to valves for dissolved acetylene containers and liquefied petroleum gas containers.
