Scope

This standard specifies uniform symbols for fillers and reinforcements. This standard only specifies symbols that have been established for use, and its purpose is to prevent the use of more than one symbol for a single filler or reinforcement, and to prevent a single symbol from having more than one meaning. The purpose is to prevent it from being interpreted as such.
