Scope

This standard mainly applies to welded parts of seamless steel pipes and electrical resistance welded steel pipes with an outer diameter of 9.0 mm or more, a thickness of 1.0 mm or more, and a thickness-to-outer-diameter percentage (t/D) of 20% or less. , specifies the ultrasonic angle inspection method for longitudinal flaws. However, this does not apply to welded stainless steel pipes.
