Scope

This standard applies to automatic or manual ultrasonic flaw detection of welded parts of carbon steel pipes and ferritic alloy steel pipes with an outer diameter of 350 mm or more and a thickness of 6 mm or more that are manufactured by automatic arc welding in the longitudinal direction or spirally on both the inner and outer surfaces. Specify inspection methods.
