Scope

This standard specifies the tensile strength and elongation when a soft foam material is pulled at a constant speed until it breaks, and the tensile strength and elongation of a soft foam material with a thickness of 24 mm or more, using a trousers-shaped test piece and an angle-type test piece without notches at a constant speed. This specifies how to determine the tear strength when the material is pulled until it breaks.
