This standard specifies the resistance and self-propulsion test methods of submarine models. This standard is applicable to the resistance and self-propulsion test process of submarine models on the surface, underwater, and in the navigation state of the snorkel and periscope. The model resistance and self-propulsion tests of other underwater moving objects (such as underwater weapons, etc.) can be carried out with reference to the relevant requirements of this standard. This standard only involves the model test process and does not involve the performance prediction of the actual ship.
