- Scope
- This standard specifies the classification and naming, requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation and storage of tuning forks with natural frequencies of 256Hz and 512Hz and resonant tuning forks with natural frequency of 440Hz. This standard applies to tuning forks with resonance boxes for physical experiments, but does not apply to electric vibrating tuning forks.
