- Part 3 of this European Standard specifies type test methods for the assessment of safety and performance of fume cupboards, especially requirements for the air flow, the sash and the mechanical stability. Type test methods are among others face velocity, containment, robustness of containment, air exchange efficiency, pressure drop and sash suspension.
