Scope

This standard specifies the requirements for marine hydraulic systems, the application of components and accessories, piping and cleaning, etc. This standard applies to the design and manufacture of hydraulic transmission and control systems for ship machinery and equipment, including hydraulic systems for supporting equipment throughout the ship.
