Scope

This standard specifies the method for determining the apparent viscosity of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) plastisol prepared from polyvinyl chloride (PVC) resin and plasticizers at high shear rates using a Severs rheometer. This standard is especially applicable to preparation according to GB/T 21991 "Planetary Mixer Method for Preparation of Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) Paste for Plastic Test" or GB/T 16613 "Disperser Method for Preparation of Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) Paste for Test" "Standard plastisol".
