Scope

This standard specifies the liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry/mass spectrometry method for the determination of hormone residues in food of animal origin. This standard applies to the confirmation and quantitative determination of 50 hormones (see Appendix A) residues in animal source foods such as pork, pork liver, eggs, milk, beef, chicken and shrimp.
