- 1.1 This standard is applicable to the determination of viscosity less than 5.5 mm2/s (cSt) at 40°C (104°F) by Tiger manual and automatic closed mouth tester, or less than 9.5 mm2/s(cSt) and the flash point of liquids with a flash point lower than 93°C (200°F). 1.1.1 The viscosity is not less than 5.5 mm2/s(cSt) at 40°C (104°F), and not less than 9.5 mm2/s(cSt) at 25°C (77°F). ), liquids with a flash point not lower than 93°C (200°F), and closed-cup flash points of liquids that tend to form surface films or contain suspended solids under the test conditions are determined by the ASTM D93 test method. 1.1.2 For the determination of the flash point of thinned asphalt according to ASTM D1310 and ASTM D3143. 1.2 This test method can be used to determine and describe the reaction of materials, products or compositions to heat and flame under controlled laboratory conditions, and cannot be used to describe or evaluate the fire hazard of materials, products or compositions under actual fire conditions sex. The results of this test can be used as the elements for evaluating the fire hazard, and the evaluation of the fire hazard should take into account all the factors related to the fire hazard in the actual end use. 1.3 Relevant standards include ASTM D93, ASTM D1310, ASTM D3828, ASTM D3278 and ASTM D3941 test methods. 1.4 The data in the SI unit system is used as the standard, and the values in brackets are for reference only. 1.5 This standard involves certain hazardous materials, operations and equipment, but it is not intended to make recommendations on all safety issues related to this.
