Scope

This standard specifies the gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) determination method for the content of phthalates in food plastic packaging materials. This standard applies to the determination of the content of phthalates (16 types, see Appendix A) in food plastic packaging materials. The detection limit of each phthalate compound in this standard is 0.05 mg/kg.
