Scope
This standard specifies the method for the determination of ethyl maltol in beverages by high performance liquid chromatography. This standard applies to the determination of ethyl maltol content in beverages such as carbonated beverages, fruit juices, and protein. The detection limit of this standard: 5.0 mg/L (signal-to-noise ratio S/N=10).
