Scope: This standard applies to the seismic fortification classification of construction projects in seismic fortification areas. All construction projects in the seismic fortification zone shall determine their seismic fortification category. The anti-seismic fortification category of newly built, rebuilt and expanded construction projects shall not be lower than the provisions of this standard. The formulation of industry standards for seismic fortification classification of construction projects shall comply with the classification principles of this standard. For construction projects with special requirements not listed in this standard, their seismic fortification classification shall be implemented in accordance with special regulations.
