- This standard specifies the scope, term definition, test principle, information of the test substance, reference substance, quality control, test method, data and report, interpretation and evaluation of the test for the hydrolysis of chemicals related to pH. This standard is applicable to the determination of the hydrolysis ability of chemicals related to pH. This standard applies to those compounds (unlabeled and labeled) that have adequate precision and sensitivity analytical methods. Suitable for slightly volatile and nonvolatile compounds with sufficient water solubility. Not suitable for compounds with high volatility (such as fumigants, organic solvents) that are preserved in aqueous solutions under experimental conditions. Testing of substances with very little water solubility is difficult.
