- This standard specifies the general method for determination of ignition residue by gravimetric method. This standard applies to the determination of residues on ignition of chemical reagents that can be sublimated or carbonized and can remove the main body at 650°C±50°C. When using this standard to determine the residue on ignition, the residue mass calculated according to the sampling amount and specification value shall not be less than 1 mg.
