This standard specifies a general method for converting heavy metals into sulfides in acetic acid medium and measuring them by visual colorimetry. This standard applies to the determination of heavy metals calculated as lead in chemical reagents. The detection range of saturated hydrogen sulfide aqueous solution colorimetric method is 0.3 μg/mL~2 μg/mL (calculated as Pb); the detection range of sodium sulfide-glycerol colorimetric method is 0.4 μg/mL~3 μg/mL (calculated as Pb ).
