Scope

This standard specifies methods for analyzing formaldehyde in exhaust gas. In this standard, exhaust gas refers to flues, chimneys, ducts (hereinafter referred to as ducts), etc. in the manufacturing process of resins, combustion of methanol, other chemical reactions, work processes that use or generate formaldehyde, etc. It also refers to gas discharged into the exhaust pipe of an internal combustion engine.
