Scope

1.1 This test method covers the sample preparation and analysis by X-ray fluorescence (XRF) of sulfur in uranium oxides and uranyl nitrate solutions.

1.2 This test method is valid for those solutions containing 100 to 500 181g sulfur/mL. Higher concentrations may be measured by appropriate dilutions.

1.3 This standard does not purport to address all of the safety concerns, if any, associated with its use.
