Scope

This standard specifies the high performance liquid chromatography method for the determination of 1,2 propylene glycol, glycerol and sorbitol in tobacco and tobacco products. This standard is applicable to the determination of 1,2 propylene glycol, glycerol and sorbitol in tobacco and tobacco products. This standard does not apply to tobacco and tobacco products containing other humectants.
