Scope
This method is applicable to the determination of particle size distribution of granular substances such as metals and compounds by light scattering method, and the results are expressed in volume percentage. This method is suitable for the analysis of water-dispersed and non-water-dispersed samples, and is also suitable for the analysis of gas dispersion of hygroscopic substances or substances that will react with liquid carriers. This method is applicable to the determination of the particle size distribution of substances with particle sizes ranging from 0.4 μm to 2000 μm. The standard units for values in this method are SI units.
