- This part specifies the method summary, reagents, instruments, samples, analysis steps, result calculation and method precision for the determination of total gas content in gadolinium oxide-uranium dioxide pellets (GdO-UO). This section applies to the determination of the total gas content except moisture in GdO-UO pellets. The range of measuring total gas content is (0.001~0.05) ml/g. Part of the water in the sample reacts with the molybdenum crucible to generate hydrogen, which may have a slight impact on the analysis results.
