- This part specifies the reagents, instruments and equipment, sample preparation, analysis steps, result calculation and method precision for determination of uranium content in sintered gadolinia-uranium dioxide pellets by ferrous ammonium sulfate reduction potassium dichromate potentiometric titration. This section is applicable to the determination of uranium content in sintered GdO-UO pellets with a maximum mass fraction of gadolinium oxide of 12%. It is also suitable for the determination of nuclear grade gadolinium-containing uranium octoxide powder.
