Scope

This standard specifies anti-corona technology, test methods and inspection rules for high-voltage AC motors used in high-altitude areas. This standard applies to AC motors with working altitudes from 1000m to 5000m and rated voltages of 6kV and above where the windings and cores are connected to the ambient atmosphere. Other AC motors with anti-corona requirements can also be used as a reference.
