Scope
This standard calibrates the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation and storage of the food additive erythritol. This standard applies to erythritol crystal products that use glucose as raw material and convert it into erythritol through fermentation using Candida lipolytica or Moniliella pollinis or Trichosporonoides megachilensis and then refine it through other processes.
