Scope

This standard specifies the basic principles, measurement and calculation methods for the determination of rock pore volume compressibility coefficient, and the technical specifications of the main instruments. This standard is applicable to the determination of pore volume compressibility coefficient of cemented rocks. Other types of cores can be implemented as a reference.
