Scope

This standard specifies the instruments, reagents, operating procedures and methods used for the electrolysis method for determining the water content of crude oil, as well as the calculation and repeatability of the analysis results. This standard is applicable to the determination of the water content of crude oil containing more than 5% water in the oil field production process.
