- This standard specifies the basic safety management requirements for oil and gas drilling in shallow sea areas. This standard mainly covers the basic conditions for shallow sea drilling, safety management, general safety technology, well control, drilling equipment safety, drilling operations, emergency management and accident handling, etc. This standard does not cover the design, construction, equipment configuration and demobilization of mobile drilling facilities in shallow water. This standard applies to shallow water oil and gas drilling facilities.
