Scope

This standard specifies the method for the determination of betaine in compound feeds, concentrated feeds and premixed feeds by ion exchange chromatography. This standard is also applicable to the determination of betaine content in pure betaine (hydrochloride) and compound betaine. The limit of quantification of this standard is 200mg/kg.
