Scope

This standard specifies the size and performance requirements of hydraulic quick-change joints that can be quickly connected or disconnected without tools or special devices in hydraulic system piping. The standard specifies the dimensions of two series of quick-change couplings that are widely used and similar in workmanship. The "A" series is typically used in Europe and the "B" series is typically used in the Americas.
